How to Break-Free from the 9-5

Today I am looking at how I choose to spend my time and how I contribute to my family.

I have always worked.  Even after getting married and having my son I have worked consistently.  Working gives me a sense of purpose.  I enjoy helping others and I enjoy having my own income.  As my son leaves elementary school and moves to middle school I would like to have the choice to be the one who collects him at the end of his day and takes him to his after school activities and makes his dinner.  However, I don’t want to give up working altogether.  I enjoy interacting with others and having my own money.
